The rules in brief
- Unemployment benefit: 55% of your net daily income (from the previous year’s gross, up to the contribution ceiling), plus family supplements. 20 weeks; 30 with 3 years of insurance in 5; 39 from age 40 with 6 years in 10; 52 from 50 with 9 years in 15. After resigning there is a 4-week wait.
