Retirement age in Croatia: when you can claim your pension
When you can retire depends on your year of birth and how many years you have been insured. The calculator above shows the earliest age and the age for a full pension, and what each age would pay.
The rules in brief
- Old-age pension: The pillar-I pension is personal points (your pay compared with the national average each year, times years of service) times the current pension value, €15.64 from 1 July 2026, which is adjusted every January and July. Pensions from pillar I only receive a 27% supplement; members of a mandatory pension fund get a basic pension from 75% of their points plus a pension from their pillar-II account.
