The rules in brief
- Unemployment benefit (from 2026): 80% of your previous average net earnings at first, then 50% and finally 40%: 5 months under 52, 8 months at 52–57 and 11 months over 57; at most 80% of the national average wage. The amount no longer depends on why the job ended; payments start after the months covered by severance. Benefits are tax-free.
