Retirement age in Poland: when you can claim your pension
When you can retire depends on your year of birth and how many years you have been insured. The calculator above shows the earliest age and the age for a full pension, and what each age would pay.
The rules in brief
- ZUS old-age pension: For people born after 1948 the pension is the indexed capital on your ZUS account and sub-account (19.52% of pay) divided by the average further life expectancy at your age (GUS table, e.g. 268.9 months at 60 and 222.7 at 65 from 1 April 2026). Pension age is 60 for women and 65 for men; each year you work longer raises the pension noticeably.
