Unemployment benefit replaces part of your pay when you lose your job, if you were insured long enough. The calculator above estimates the amount and how long it is paid, from your salary and age, with the 2026 rules.
The rules in brief
- Unemployment benefit: 65% of your gross reference pay, between €537.13 (IAS) and €1,342.83 (2.5 × IAS) a month and not above 75% of net pay; −10% after 6 months. Duration 5 to 18 months by age and contribution record, plus extra months for long careers. Needs 360 days of work in the last 24 months; not after resigning.
