How the 2026 tax refund works in Spain

State deductions only: each region adds its own (rent for young people, nursery, school costs and more), which can raise the refund. The working mothers’ €1,200 a year per child under 3 can also be paid in advance at €100 a month; if it was, only the nursery part is left for the return. The return is filed from April to 30 June 2027.
